Surbhi Kanwar
Surbhi is an experienced physiotherapist with a Masters Degree. She has worked for the last 15 years across multiple healthcare environments with the last few years being in Private Practice. Surbhi has also lectured to Physiotherapy Students during their training. She has a wealth of experience with neurological, cardiopulmonary and pediatric conditions but the last 10 years has focussed her career on managing complex musculoskeletal conditions.
Surbhi has a special interest in head neck and jaw pain conditions using a variety of manual techniques including, Spinal Mobilization, Mulligan, Dry Needling, Trigger Point release as well as myofascial tissue techniques . With her love of spinal conditions, she also has a special interest in treating ante and post natal clients such with lower back pain, coccygeal pain as well as pelvic floor dysfunction.
In addition to her extensive manual therapy skills Surbhi also trained as a Clinical Pilates instructor with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI), incorporating this into her musculoskeletal rehabilitation. She is passionate about integrating strength and conditioning programs using tailored Pilates and gym programs leading to long-term recovery and health management.
