Joshua Cheng
Joshua graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Monash University and also completed a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne, majoring in Anatomy and Neuroscience. This academic background underpins his strong understanding of pain mechanisms, neuromuscular control, and the close relationship this has with musculoskeletal injuries.
He takes a structured and thorough approach to care, with a strong focus on identifying contributing factors rather than treating symptoms alone. As part of his clinical approach, Joshua values clear explanation and patient education, and works closely with patients to help them understand their condition and actively participate in their recovery.
As a multilingual clinician, he is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Korean, allowing him to communicate comfortably with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Outside of physiotherapy, Joshua enjoys strength training, staying active, and continuing to expand his knowledge in health, movement, and performance.
